ARTIST PROFILE

Hello, I'm Lilly Catney, and I'm delighted to share a glimpse into my academic, artistic, and professional journey. I am junior at the University of South Carolina's  Darla Moore School of Business, where I am earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a concentration in Business Analytics and an Art Studio minor. What truly sets me apart is my specialized concentration in Business Analytics, a field I'm deeply passionate about. I firmly believe in the power of data to drive informed decisions in the business world.

My enthusiasm for business extends beyond the classroom, as I've gained invaluable hands-on experience through a rewarding Marketing Internship with Superior Beverage Group. During my time there, I immersed myself in all facets of the business, from field deliveries to sales meetings, graphic design, and social media marketing. Notably, I had the privilege of creating compelling promotional materials to bolster localized marketing campaigns for major beverage companies and delivering a captivating presentation on the life cycle of a new product to the company's executives. This experience sharpened my practical skills and deepened my understanding of the business landscape.

My passion for art is something I carry with me everywhere I go. I create meaningful pieces on societal and economical issues to emphasize their importance to the public. My art is not something that only impacts others, but along with myself. Being an artist has become a passion of mine that heals my anxiety. Arts healing powers is something I plan on sharing with the world. 

In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I've been an active member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Alpha Lambda Chapter. Serving as the Blog Chair and Events Graphics Chair on the Public Relations and Marketing Committee, I've crafted meaningful and inspirational blog posts to support and empower our members in various aspects of their lives, from mental health to academics. I also actively worked to diversify our content by collaborating with other members to contribute their unique perspectives and insights.

With a strong academic track record, awards, and a commitment to blending my creative talents with analytical acumen, I am poised to make a significant impact in the world of business. I'm excited to explore new opportunities and collaborations that allow me to utilize my diverse skill set and contribute to innovative solutions.
